Hello!
My partner was diagnosed with brain cancer last year and she has now completed her treatment (surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy).
We are based in the UK and we’re hoping to book a trip abroad as soon as possible. I wondered if anyone could recommend or has had success with any specialist travel insurance providers please?
Any pointers would be a massive help. Thank you so much.
Hi Gardenflowers and a very warm welcome to the group which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
That's great to read that your partner has finished her treatment and that you're starting to think about holidays again.
Have you had chance to look through the 'recommended travel insurance' and 'recommended travel insurance 2023-24' threads yet as you'll find lots of suggestions for travel insurance there? If not, it's best to go through them and make a list before settling down to get quotes.
Personally I've used goodtogoinsurance.com and payingtoomuch.com for cover after I'd finished treatment, although I had different types of cancer to your partner.
Let me know how you get on and I hope you can find some suitable cover so that you can go ahead and book your holiday.
