ch seem to help And for scan now to see what’s happening.
I have good days and other day wracked with dark thoughts and anxiety.
it is so hard living with cancer. Do any of you not think about all day ? I get short breaks when I am busy but my mind always comes back to this unwanted reality.
I want my life back free of cancer but then I know I will be in full scale grief. I worry I will miss him too much and regret not being more present while he is here. But he is distant ( opiates for pain) plus his mental function is not what it was.
So tough.

Hi Anna
Although I haven't been in your position, as I was the one with cancer, I can totally empathise with your wish to go back to your life pre-cancer. It must be incredibly difficult for you at the moment as you say your husband is distant.
You might find having a chat to someone on the Support Line helpful. It's free to call them on 0808 808 0000 and there's someone available every day from 8am to 8pm.
