Hi, I think I know what you mean and I had months of the same but when I spoke to the Macmillan nurses they were able to bring some clarity and offer some advice based on their wide experience. See how that goes for a start. Isolation, worry and the stress of shouting in the darkness is so hard to manage. Hope this helps. X
Hello Rudi - on the same journey with my husband who has terminal cancer in kidney adrenal gland liver and spine. Given the outcomes he decided not to go ahead with chemo. We are trying to manage his pain at home but frustrated by the system at the moment. If I am reminded one more time that as a consequence of covid 19 etc etc I think I may scream. Can someone explain why the district nurse is able to visit and she is an absolute diamond but no Macmillan nurses are allowed to visit?
Thanks for ur reply hubby has decided not to go ahead with chemo as its not going make much difference to the cancer might just make him more ill. So glad am not the only one frustrated with the system at the moment like you if am told again its to do with covid19 I will scream like you we have a, district nurse who has been here from the beginning and is amazing and comes every week to see the husband but no one else is allowed sometime we feel so alone x
