Good morning everyone.

This may sound a strange question . I was awarded Pip in July 2019 just after my transplant. I am on the full allowance.

However I am now feeling really well almost back to where I was pre diagnosis and I feel I should inform DWP and come off this allowance which was awarded until 2022.

Has anyone else been in this situation?

Mark

  • Hi Mark,

    No, is my answer, sorry!

Hubs has the predecessor to PIP but has been gradually getting worse over the years (he has spinal arthritis from top to bottom as well as bilateral hip replacements and also a pacemaker) so we've left it alone.

  • Mark I was basically the same position and was told by my Macmillan Financial Adviser to let it run until the review date as I was “still in past SCT recovery” but if you are working in any capacity this is a different matter.
