Good morning. I dont have any trouble sleeping either thank goodness. Just have to move around like a chicken on a spit a lot because of pain. Haha. Anyway we had a fabulous time in Portugal and flight was fine on my back. I felt like I didnt have cancer whilst we were there and it was nice to leave it behind if only for the week. So next trip in planning Iceland. We have been twice before and love it there. I cant wait to go to Blue Lagoon and float in the hot thermal water.
Of course we found an Irish bar in Portugal. Hope everone has a good day x

Hi Leelaloo I am so happy you got to enjoy your holiday. Iceland is on my bucket list, it looks so beautiful and peaceful there. When we go to Norway the first thing we notice is how clear the air is, and I would imagine Iceland is the same x
Glad you had a wonderful time in Portugal. It is always nice to be away and in a different environment. When are you thinking of going to Iceland? Maybe you could even see some live volcano activity!
I have not done much other than extensive online shopping! I have accepted my new body size/ shape and decided not to hang on to my old clothes. While new autumn wardrobe is coming my way xx
Hi Everyone
I've been having a lovely birthday celebration so far today. My most bizarre present was an old-fashioned potato masher from my friend! She stayed a couple of weeks ago, and noticed I didn't have one!
Also got a hand-woven bird nest box for the garden. It's too nice to put outside!
And an amazing model merry-go-round that my husband has spent many hours making. It is incredibly complicated! This is his new hobby, to keep him away from heavy physical work in the garden. He isn't supposed to do any heavy lifting since his heart attack.
The next model will be a cuckoo clock.....should be finished by Christmas!
I'm with Stella on having a new wardrobe every now and again. It lifts your spirits, and fills the local charity shops with your discards. Win win!
xxxxx Kate
