Hi Kate, What thoughtful presents. I’d love to see a photo of the potato masher!!! Just kidding, of course I mean the Merrygoround, it rounds amazing! So does his next project, the Cuckoo Clock!
I hope you had an amazing birthday!
Love Annette x
Hi Annette
I can't 'do' photos and share them easily, so you'll just have to use your imagination!
The merry go round is all wooden....lots of tiny parts to fiddle with, and no glue involved. You would probably manage it well, being used to doing jigsaws!
xxxx Kate
Good morning Kate, so nice to hear you enjoyed your Birthday. Your potato masher does sound intriguing. Hope you and your loved ones are fine and well. Eddie’s stop over was delightful as ever. We had a good catch up and hopefully will do the same again when he is up this way again. Wishing everybody a good week and best of luck for appointments and all connected with it. Special love from Lilly to Winston. Take care everyone, hug from
Angie and Lilly xx
Happy birthday Kate, you certainly got spoilt with all your presents. The merry go round sounds amazing. Because it has gone a little colder I dug out my jeans. Well to say they are snug is an understatement might have to do what you are doing Stella. Hope everyone has a good day x

Hi Puddock happy belated birthday! The merry go round sounds amazing! How clever! X
Hi Leelaloo, glad you had a lovely time in Portugal, it's somewhere I've never been to but when Mrs Tvman improves we're going to go somewhere on a cruise. Unfortunately my haematologist advised that I don't go outside of Europe in case my condition worsens so as Portugal is in Europe the last time I looked at a map lol it's a distinct possibility, no probability, that we go there.
In 2017 we went to Iceland as it was on my (informal) bucket list. We went in early November before the snow fell. Why? Well I'm an amateur geologist and I wanted to see the rock formations and the landscapes before they were blanketed in snow.
A couple of interesting facts that we learned when in Iceland. One, when you see the large overland water pipes that are destined for domestic premises whose provenance is the hot water sources all over the island, the terminal temperature is only 2°C lower than its source. Another one is the sinks that have no plugs in our hotel and others. My airport assistant assigned to me on arrival as a disabled person was the same assistant on departure and I was curious about the lack of sink plugs so I asked her and she said they don't need plugs because they have all the water they need!
Oh, before I go, I think the blue lagoon may be closed as it's close to one of the latest eruptions and the water is a touch warmer than you would like. Maybe more than a touch lol.
Anyone going to Iceland will enjoy it I'd say, but wrap up warmly and enjoy the cool fresh clear air.
Tvman x
Morning everyone
Autumn is here and the heating is back on (but apparently a warmer weekend ahead - let’s see !)
Still busy with my very old folks and Mum is still in hospital unfortunately
Had my maintenance treatment last week and my 3 monthly full blood check - 28 blood tests done and all normal , yay !!
The treatment is fatiguing but otherwise I’m focusing on the joy that positive news brings (after so much negative news this time last year)
Hope everyone is doing ok and keeping cosy out of the rain
