Sorry to hear that mate - this is a crap disease that can just get you down. So far my mets are “stable” in my lungs, just hoping it stays that way for a while.

Hi Steve, actually my real name is Lisa but nobody calls me that I have been Lee for a long time. I do hope that we both are able to make another trip back to South Africa.
Looking back on this trip, I have had exactly the same issues as at home but took enough meds with me. Also come out with a rash and was able to buy Betnovate steroid cream over the counter. So my advice to anyone thinking about travelling is go for it if it is reasonably possible. We have no regrets.
Hi Patrick, I'm hoping that if all goes well and Mrs Tvman is up for it, I'd like to get over to our daughter's house near Peterborough and see the family. She has her hip replacement this afternoon and as far as I'm aware from feedback from friends who have had the same op, she'll be well fit for a trip to England. Might be hard to persuade her but I'll not put her under pressure, she'll have to be fit enough. We have been there for Halloween for several years running.
