Morning all, Just setting up a new chat thread for March. If you want to catch up on February's chat you can click here but it will be closed.
The chit chat thread is for:
"Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment."
Thanks Angie, I'm not expecting bad news, but it's nice to be told, strangely I haven't been given my PSA results, one week on, I always get them 3 days after testing on the NHS App. MDT meeting tomorrow, I should get them there. Only 2 days to go for your new car Angie, will you miss your little corsa, or is it just a car, good luck working out all the buttons and settings
love Eddie and Sheila xx
So far so good Patrick, bloods again in 2 weeks, and they wonder why some one gets worn out, then a phone call. Then appointment 1st April and one the 2nd April, lol, what else would i be doing lol.
I have a funeral Wednesday, nothing to do with Cancer.
How are you Patrick after another cycle of treatment.
Evening Eddie, of course I will miss my Corsa to a certain degree. She has been a very good and reliable car, but sadly age is now catching up with her at 17 and she did start costing money since last year to fix. Also a 5 door, automatic car, will make it easier for me now and of course heated seats and all the comforts are a nice bonus. Can do with the heated seats as it is rather cold now and there is a sharp wind blowing. Needless to say that Her Majesty will not put a paw out of the house. She is having a wee nap at present. Oh to be a cat sometimes . Give Lesley my regards and love to Sheila and the rest of your family
Love Angie and Lilly xx
Hi Ellie, I'm fine, had a crap reaction again to the treatment so tomorrow chat with oncolologist to discuss way forward. There are other immunotherapy medicines but, as far as I can gather, to be eligible I would have to do a double chemotherapy like cisplatin and docetaxil. I have a good quality of life now, am 66 and have no interest in suffering just for the sake of prolonging my life for a bit. We'll see what she has to say tomorrow.
Patrick xx
