Lovely morning chit-chat thread- March 2025

Morning all, Just setting up a new chat thread for March. If you want to catch up on February's chat you can click here but it will be closed. 

The chit chat thread is for:

"Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!

  • Evening Ulls, just arrived at families in Scotland, it's been a long long day in the car, feet up now for a couple of days, lovely, what are you up to my friend, I hope you and your lovely lady are well.

  • Absolutely nothing, spouse is fine but unfortunately my peritoneame is filling up with liquid again, so I will be getting a permanent drain fitted, time unknown?

    Glad some one is about, though sorry to hear, you have problems again never stops does it, though we go along with it, have no choice.

    Nice and bright here though cold, having a tidy up, son coming tomorrow.

    I have hospital tomorrow, though he has a key, never know when he will get here.

  • Hi Eddie, thanks for your comments, palliative care GP say's she is organising a treatment plan with hospital, so I won't have to go thru A/E like last time.

  • Hi Ulls that's good to hear, I'm surprised your not fast tracked though A+E, thankfully it seems their on top of things for you

    Looks like it might be a nice day, fingers crossed.

    Well today is nine years since i was diagnosed, unlovable never ever thought that, when told, stage four incurable.

    Been a long long journey, so every one, keep going, hope is a powerful word, and I have always, hung on to my oncologist saying that to me, so never give up.

    I am of to the chemo unit this morning. gone are the days, of night clubbing, thats for sure.
