Morning all, Just setting up a new chat thread for March. If you want to catch up on February's chat you can click here but it will be closed.
The chit chat thread is for:
"Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment."
I did ask my oncologist in February, a question I have never asked before, when do I say enough is enough, she gave me the answer and I said, well i am not going any where yet.
So yes onwards and upwards, with head heled high.
I had my chemo today so I should able to go to Mallorca next Friday! Booked the flights at last minute too.
I have also bought a what I thought was a beautifully decorated wide opening flower pot. But Craig said it reminds him of commode/ chamber pot! Well it is on the bedroom windowsill hope he /Winston would not pee in it!
Patrick - hope your stomach will recover soon. I think people generally find immunotherapy easier to tolerate than chemotherapy.
Lee 2 - low neutrophil is quite a common side effect. My was just above 1 for a while. But since I had a 20% dose reduction it has been up to 2.7. Som people swear by eating dark chocolate or special honey. I am not so sure.
Alana - hope you are doing well with Lily.
Ellie and Eddie - we just have to keep going along this bumpy and mysterious road.
Love from Stella & Winston
Hi Stella, I hope your feeling ok after chemo, and great to hear your booked for Mallorca, and I hope you have a wonderful time.
I'm sure your flower pot is lovely, and if you like it, that's the main thing, what will you be putting in it, I look forward to seeing what you do.
Eddie xx

I was very aware of the garden was nice to get out from the house.
Have a wonderful time Chelle, will you be flying or going on the ferry, our favourite way. We have a trip to the Highlands and a wedding at the Scilly's, take care.

Enjoy your trips chellesimo and eddiel .
One of my crochet frogs sold today, so pleased it was deemed worthy by someone and has raised a little money too =)
Awww thanks Lex, that's the plan, and well done selling one of your frogs, where do you sell them, I have lots of grandkids who would like one.
Eddie xx
Thanks eddiel , just selling them at the community cafe/garden I volunteer at in Aberdeen. You did say you would be in the Highlands...? Lol! 2 of the other volunteers made the majority of the froggies, I made 2 and also some fimo fridge magnets. First time in decades I'd used fimo and really enjoyed it.
