Morning all, Just setting up a new chat thread for March. If you want to catch up on February's chat you can click here but it will be closed.
The chit chat thread is for:
"Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment."
Good morning Angie, my immunotherapy has been paused for a couple of weeks because of steroids for stomach problems so I know what these minor setbacks feel like. A few bumps along the way is normal it seems. Coffee is a great spirit lifter, I would have something stronger but can't at the moment lol. Keep your spirits up and have a good day.

Morning everyone, Angie and Patrick my treatment had to be stopped last week as my neutraphils are too low. I'm going today for bloods to see if okay for this Friday. I think it is something I will have to get used to. Also waiting for an ultrasound for a lump in my thigh. As to coffee Im on my third mug .

Hi Ellie, hope you have recovered from your fall.
I'm on atezolizumab, not so common in the UK, there were problems with NICE approval for lung cancer, but it works on a similar principle to pembrolizumab (Keytruda). Since it is my last treatment option, I'm not doing any more chemo, it would be nice if it worked without disrupting my life lol

Hi I have heard of it, I was on Pembrolizumab or Keytruda, t the time it had just been sanctioned in the uk for lung cancer, I was my oncologist first patient to go on it, i did it for the two years, for me so much better than chemo.
Just starting to move about bit more, will not do it again we learn from our mistakes.
