Hi
My daughter at moment is doing well, thank you.
I am not on any treatment at moment though the brain tumour I had removed September has been confirmed as , a secondary from the lungs not a new primary, as i was told, see what my oncologist says in January..
Hope you enjoyed your day with your mum.
Hi Ellie, It is shocking you Have not had your injection yet, it is just not good enough! Can your GP not have a word with someone to hurry them up. One time when I was having an MRI the nurse asked any metal in your body and when I said A replacement knee, a pin in my arm from shoulder to elbow and a plate in my back, she asked how many screws etc all together. I said “ Well how would I know, I was asleep! “ she looked at me as if I had a ‘screw loose’ and said she thought I would have known! Now why would we!!
Honestly Ellie, I don’t think you should have to wait for anything, I think you should be top priority. Could you possibly contact your oncologist’s secretary and ask if they can hurry things along! I’m so pleased your daughter is doing well and I hope your brother has a smooth journey with chemo!
Love Annette x
Good morning
My mum and I had a good time in the town centre yesterday. We had a look around the shops first. It is difficult to get the same excitement on shiny new things. Everything feels not as relevant and a bit meh. I hope I can get the zest back soon. The film Paddington was quite fun and we enjoyed it. The new cinema was really nice with sofa and table Service.
Today I have arranged for us go to a spa place so will be some relaxation with Jacuzzi sauna et cetera and the lunch afterwards.
Hope everyone else having a good day too.
stella xx
Hi Stella, lovely to hear you enjoyed your time with your mum and the film was enjoyable, and it's understandable some things don't give you the buzz, they used too, we all look at life differently in our situation and some things you used to do may never seem important again, but the things that really matter are the ones which we focus on and enjoy even more.
my life revolves around family, good friends, holidays and days out, Poppy-my jack russell and being papered,
we love spa breaks and a massage too "probably too many", but there enjoyable and make you feel better, so why not, and have a wonderful time at your Spa and lunch break.
Eddie xx
Good evening Stella, I am so glad your Mum and yourself enjoyed the Spa treatment. It is so good for body and soul to get pampered now and then. Fat Chance I will get a Spa day soon. Still got Covi and folk avoid me like the Plague. At least I am out of Hospital and comfy at home with Lilly. My daughter calls in every day to make sure I am ok and to bring little treats etc. I am very lucky that she is a Nurse. Otherwise they would have kept me in for a few days longer. My other 2 children are in Whats App contact and FaceTime. It must be some FaceTime skill that folk always click in when your hair is in a mess or you are sitting with a face pack or just look all crumbled like an old sock . Wishing everyone a peaceful night and as nice a day tomorrow as it is possible.
love Alana and Lilly xx
We love spa breaks too. Used to go to Europe for a spa break. I need to investigate more around this country. Must admit I have not really visited many parts of U.K. as always though I will do that when I get to 80 (lol). Do you have any recommendations on spa hotels / breaks for this country? X
I shall check with my daughters and come back to you. They love Spa breaks xx
I am so glad you are back home with Lilly. It is much more comfortable and you can recover much better too.
Re FT, the key to look good is dim light! Everything looks better very little lighting.
i have got a cat too, he is called Winston and 3 this year. I will post a photo of him once I figured out how. Good night x
