Hi
Oh Jim mate, sorry to hear you're not doing well but as you say, who knows what tomorrow brings. I'm the same age as you and that's not old enough to call it a day, my bloods were poor the last time and I got quite low. I wish you all the luck in the world my friend, keep hoping.
Take care and stay safe Jim

Hi Jim, I was so sorry to read about your swollen tummy. Have they mentioned that it could be fluid? If this is the case, they may be able to drain it a bit to make you feel more comfortable!
The summer house sounds like a great idea! One of me friends bought one a few years ago and they hang seed containers on the front at each side. It has a small kind of balcony, so that they can sit in it even during a shower. She spends a lot of time sitting watching and listening to the birds! I'm wondering what side you bought! You could have a picnic lunch in it or a bottle of something nice, while watching the sun go down!
I was almost 63 when I was diagnosed and as Tvman said, it is far too young to throw in the towel! No onè knows what tomorrow will bring, so just focus on today and make it a good day!
Love Annette x
That’s good. Glad you in hospital. Hopefully they will sort out the fluid on your abdomen x
Ruth
oh that sounds miserable, you are in the right place. My brother had a chest drain put in yesterday & it drained a litre and a half of fluid in an hour! That’s a lot of breathing space. If you have fluid in your tummy it’ll be causing all sorts of problems & pressing on things that shouldn’t be pressed on. I hope you’ll be feeling a lot more comfortable soon, thinking of you xx
Hi ,
Hope they have sorted the fluid build up and made you comfortable. Hopefully you can get back to that summer house.
