Hi Pat I've JUST read your post from 27/12 and yes I was having severe bladder problems last year. It turned out it was being caused by misplaced discs in my spine which were squashing the nerve endings to the bladder and stopping it work properly. That was the reason I had to have spinal decompression surgery and they also removed some bone spurs caused by osteoarthritis which weren't helping the situation. After the surgery things settled down for a while but I seem to be very prone to urine infections.
However it is not as bad as it was before the surgery! If you have back problems, it wouldn't do any harm to ask for it to be checked out. I had no idea bladder problems could be linked to the spine! Now I know!
