Well here I am today turning the first page on the calendar that I thought I wouldn’t be needing. Nothings really changed, I still have a disease which has no cure or any long term survivors but I’m grateful for the time I’ve had and will endeavour to make a contribution to this forum and repay all the love and care I have received. It’s not over till it’s over, so I’ll keep putting one foot in front of the other, until the rug is finally pulled from underneath me.
Dear, I refuse to buy any new clothes now unless they are half price, which seeing as I am a walking advert for fashion at Asda I am very low maintenance
Hi Jane
I’ve kind of gone the other way. If I see something I really, really like then I just buy it, regardless of whether it’s on sale. I bought myself a beautiful green velvet dress before Christmas, full price. I’ve so enjoyed wearing it this Christmas. Previously I’d have waited to see if it was in the sales after Christmas. These days, to coin a phrase, I reckon I’m worth it.
xx
