I found a interesting article forum members might like to read, it sounds as though there is definitely a push to provide better outcomes for patients who want their wishes respected.

Thanks Jane. I have updated my Respect Plan & do not want any more hospital admissions. So far I have been impressed with my palliative care team. Not yet at crisis point but only a short time left so hoping the care I have needed so far continues.
Hugs to all those in the same position.
Dear mclg, I’m glad you found the article useful. I’m so pleased to hear you are receiving good support from your palliative care team. I think blood cancer patients like us need to know what assistance is available when we are coming to the end of our treatment options so that we can make informed choices. Heomotology is very treatment focused and needs to integrate more with palliative care services for when they run out of options to offer us.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
