Are there any horse riders with a Urostomy bag here?

I’m sorry you haven’t received a reply yet about your horseriding-I know I’ve seen it mentioned before, but can’t remember the member’s name. My reply will bump your post up again and it hopefully might get spotted. I can’t think why it wouldn’t be possible with a urostomy, but don’t have the practical experience to know for sure how it might impact. As I said to you in the bladder group, I honestly can’t think of anything I wouldn’t be able to tackle with a urostomy but the closest I’ve got is riding a bike!

I think you will learn that you can do more or less anything if you really want to. I put a search on the Internet and found this link amongst some others - all positive: The Horse and Hound forum suggests that horse riding is an excellent exercise to restore one's muscles after surgery.

 Dulac How wonderful of you, I try not to search the internet too much as I'm feeling quite overwhelmed by everything I'm trying to process, but my surgery is getting closer!
