Any tips of what I can use as an adhesive remover for my stoma bag. My last can of spray ran out this morning and new supplies not coming for another 4 days! Been to Boots and Super drug but they don't have it.
Hi Richard21 In hospital the nurse removed my bag without spray the first time although I wouldn’t recommend it! You could also think about sending off for some removing wipes free samples to keep for backup or when you’re out and about?
I removed it in a warm shower, not ideal but the adhesive seemed to be softer that way. Next bag had to stay on for 48 hrs until I got my monthly supplies arrived. The next day was my 3 month stoma nurse appt and she kindly gave me an extra can and is upping my monthly prescription. So all sorted hopefully no more running out!!
