What you’re going through sounds awful and it’s not right that you’ve been left with no bowel control for three years 

Covid has a lot to do with so many patients being put to the bottom of the list. I am not talking about myself however my husband has been abandoned! Okay not cancer but serious challenges! 
I am not also blaming the NHS as they’re on their knees with what’s been happening to them in the last three years. I have a son working in the hospitals in another country and he’s up against it daily. 
He who shouts! I would phone and keep on phoning until you have some help. Phone your GP as well then your colorectal team and keep phoning. 
Im not sure of costs of the operation you would need.
Is it a colostomy? 
I think that your team have your history and could advice you the best way forward. 
What treatment did you have? 
There will be someone here that’s been through the same.

My husband was in hospital a few months ago and was kept in high care simply because they had no beds anywhere else. They seemed incredibly busy. I really think they are trying to catch up after Covid. I think I would give them a nudge. You might at least find out where you are on the list. xx

Get in touch with your MP immediately and he should contact the CEO of your hospital trust, it is not right that you should be treated so badly

Thanks. I have been in touch with my oncologist again and they are going to try and get me seen as an emergency 

That’s good news. If you feel that they’ve forgotten may be worth reminding them. I think everything’s been hit by staff shortages ect since Covid xxxx
