I just wanted to thank this group for being there for me since I gained my Stoma. I’ve had a few issues that I have popped on here and got advice, words of wisdom and support.
With kind regards
Ann
I totally agree - this is a wonderfully supportive group which feels safe to discuss all our fears and concerns. Additionally we can discuss the funny/embarrassing things that happen without judgement or criticism.
Wishing all the lovely people using this site a very Happy New Year.

I was 1of the lucky ones in that I didn't have time to worry about what was going to happen .and I came to the group after everything .This group has been wonderful for me in helping me to understand that Cancer can be beaten. I have had a laugh and cry sometimes and made good friend
.Thank You MacMillan Cancer Support .Alaine
Stoma nurse just visited and apart from nagging me for not wearing a support belt all the time, she is happy with me and doesn't intend to see me for 6 months. Did tell her I wouldn't have a reversal even if one was possible. Thinking of renaming Sam to Rosebud as it has been so well behaved over the holidays.
hi Matilda, that's the great thing about this site - there's no pressure to do anything. Some tips may be useful, other stuff you'll know already and there's posts that will probably make you laugh. There might also be " tales of the unexpected".
