Just trying to look forwards to next year.does anyone have any hints and tips for camping with an iliostomy.I love camping but havent since my op.we have bought a porta potti for night use .

Oh I’m jealous. I love camping too. Haven’t been but have everything just in case my hubby says yes. I’ve got a little travel mirror on a stand. It tilts so I can angle it just right on the cistern to change my bag. I need mirror still to see where I am with it. Also some Whoopi beakers with clip lids. Just in case I need to empty on the move.

I wondered about that too. I think I’d be tempted to do the same as at home. I keep a bag in an outside place til I’ve got a couple then put the in the bin. So if you took a storage container whilst exploring the site for the best disposal spot.

Oh nothing to do with a stoma but on the top of the list should be cool box. For the wine and cheese.
