I just wondered for a little light relief if people would like to share stories of any odd, funny or unusual places they had had to change or empty stoma bags.after all laughter keeps us going.
Hi Katz51
Cant share one but I can confirm we learnt the hard way not to drink too much of the required fluid intake for a scan at home ! I am sure my mum’s predicament was caught on the hospital cctv as a crisis occurred right at the hospital entrance.
From then on only half was taken at home and the other half at the hospital ! We blame it on the semi colon !
Take care ,

Well... I was having my kitchen replaced this year, along with my downstairs loo. Simultaneously had a major bathroom leak which meant both loos were out of action for a day. I needed to empty my urtomy bag, so did that, into an empty plastic bottle under a blanket in my living room! First and last time but I didn’t want it to leak or burst and was trapped! Also an airplane loo which was a cha
enge due to the space. Oh, and the car....
