Hello
I am looking for recommendations for flat pouches - so that I can send off for some samples and try some different ones out.
I have used Sensura Mio and also Dansac. I find the adhesive in the Mio too heavy duty and find that it pulls on my skin and makes me feel as though I have a huge suction pad attached to my tummy. I like a lot about them too. With Dansac - I like the light-weightness of them, but as with the Mio have had seepage.
Ideally I want one that is neat and lightweight, reliable - my dream is to be able to 'forget' that I am wearing a pouch rather than the sensation of the attached pouch drawing my attention all the time.
Please share your favourites - and why . . .
Many thanks.
Hi . I used to like the Salts Confidence bags with aloe Vera extract. They always seemed to stick well and I found the bottom easy to open - I always seemed to struggle with squeezing the bottom of some bags to open them. I also like the mouldable rings that salts do as they can be torn into smaller pieces and put exactly where you need them. My stoma was a bit floppy so I always struggled getting the bag close up and tight so I used to put half a ring there first to fill the gap.
Everyone has their favourites so sending off and getting lots of samples is a good idea.
Hope you find one that you feel comfortable with
