Hello Everyone, I haven't been on here for a while so I thought I'd pop in and say hi. Having received clear scans in January following treatment for Stage 3 bowel cancer in 2019 (see my profile for all the gory details), I've slowly been getting back to fitness again - continuing my daily dog walks, playing tennis again twice a week (until Lockdown...) and doing Pilates twice a week. I'm eating pretty much whatever I want (except spicy food due to Lichen Planus in my mouth, possibly brought on by my low immune system following chemo) and everything has gone back to normal in the bowel department. I know that I am one of the lucky ones, and thank my stars every day. I wanted to share a good news story in these uncertain times to hopefully give those of you going through treatment some hope. I'm happy to help with any questions you have anytime, just message me. Stay strong, be positive! xxx
Jersey Lily thank you so much for sharing your good news . . . brilliant to hear of your recovery and your improving fitness and quality of life. Best wishes and enjoy!
