Got my op at last on the 5th June just looking for advise what I need to get for the bathroom and downstairs loo for storage and everything

Hi Andy,
Good to hear you've got a date for your surgery. When thinking about your storage in the bathroom, this might sound daft, but you should sit on the toilet and have a look around. When you change your pouch you'll need storage close to hand - storage for the pouches, disposal bags, dry wipes, wet wipes etc. You'll also need something to sit everything on - could the storage unit be combined with a shelf? Depending on the room that you have in the bathroom, can your get a storage unit to store all of your supplies in the one place? You'll also need to decide if you want something like a nappy bin in the bathroom or are you going to run to the bin outside after every pouch change?
So ideally you would want everything you need close to hand when you're on the toilet. Another thing to consider is the type of storage - I don't want a constant reminder, nor do I want any visitors to see my supplies, so think about that - maybe storage with drawers. And what about putting wheels on the storage unit so that you can move it about the bathroom if space is tight?
You might also want an air freshener in the bathroom.
