Looking for your experiences......mum has a very erratic bowel after her stoma reversal in December.She is going from bunged up completely to loose.Been medically advised to start a mild laxative to avoid putting pressure on the bowel plumbing but not told which laxative would be best. I was thinking either lactulose or fybogel, but don't know which one would be better. Currently using prunes, but they have a tendancy to cause soreness.
What do you think? Do you have any experience of this??
I'm afraid I have no experiences to share with you but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies. By responding to you it will bump it back to the top of the first page where it'll hopefully be seen by someone with the right experience.

Hopefully what your mum's doctor has prescribed will help your mum.
