Hello everybody I had a reversal 5 weeks ago coming up to my 6-week.
even though everything seems to be going well apart from the obvious visits to the toilet I am a little concerned about putting nearly a stone on in this time .I would help me or advise me on why this is happening I am not overheating if anything I am eating less but seem to be storing fat around the reversal area like a band or a muffin on the front
Hi Andy
Sorry to see you're still waiting for a reply
What was your weight like pre reversal are you getting back to your ideal body weight.
As we all know it's not what we eat its what we eat i.e less carbohydrates and more protein.
Does your GP surgery have dietitian attached to the practice that you could discuss this with her, unfortunately our ask a dietitian group page is closed at present.
As I've not had a reversal I've not experienced this problem but I hope that by answering you it will bring your post near to the top and maybe one of the other members will spot it this time and have some suggestions for you.
If you don't get any further responses try reposting your question in the Ask a Nurse group page maybe one of the nurses will have the answer for you.
In the meantime keep doing your exercises!
Regards
Ian
