Irrigation using a Braun Irrypump

Hi, I am having trouble getting a seal on the stoma with the supplied cone using the Irrypump The water is spirting out everywhere even tho'' I reduced the flow to less than 1 !! I had the cone flange in almost up to the rim. Any suggestions gratefully received cos am feeling a bit fed up about it. Usually with the Dansac Gravity fed system I have no trouble at all and go at least 48 hours without any breakthrough. Never had any problem getting the water in before, it’s been so easy. I don’t have a hernia (yet !)

Hopefully someone can give me some advice please.

Most people start daily to gt body in to a routine - don't worry if you get break through in between, and then if they are lucky can go 48 hours between output. at the beginning it is recommended you stick to a set time. make sure you drink lots of water and give yourself a calm relaxed amount of time to do your irrigation. I am one of the lucky ones I I can now irrigate to suit my timetable so it can be daily 48 hours or up to 72 hours I switch between morning and later in the day, but as I say I have been doing it a long time
