Well here i am again at 4.30 in the morning and i can't sleep yet again!! My husband Darryl has terminal small cell cancer and, at the moment is going through a really good phase. Which, i would have thought, would set my mind at rest and enable me to sleep. But no, here i am again having had 2 hrs sleep tonight wide awake with mad thoughts running around my head!! This is driving me crazy and i just seem to be on auto pilot all the time. Darryl is 44 years old and we have been given a prognosis of a 2-3 year life span for him. I can't seem to let go of this thought, and maybe part of me can't sleep because of that, as i feel if i'm asleep i'm wasteing precious time!! Darryl is sound asleep and resting well, and if i stay upstairs next to him listening to his breathing, i keep thinking is this the last time i'll ever hear that and end up getting so uptight and worried that i find it better to just get up again. So i wander round the house do a few chores, have a hot caffiene free drink and will myself to sleep all to no avail i might add!! hahaha surely i'm not the only carer who never sleeps, or am i????? any comments gratefully recieved. I agree i think this site should be for 18+ only as getting a bit bad now and yes we can blame Kate for that!! haha Mind you poor girl not here to defend herself so perhaps we shouldn't blame her after all!!! I think thats well bad of the drs to tell Michaela she wasn't pregnant infront of you thats well out of order!! thats bad patient confidentiallity i agree! Poor little mite bet she was well embarressed? I know it's a regular test for women of chilbearing age to have preg test but think you should be asked if you wish to have it done or if there is a possibilty that you could be before they do them.
Bet you do spoil Michaela when she comes home and bet she milks it too!!! but bless her she deserves it with all she has been through, maybe i should come round and then i can spoil you while you spoil Michaela? haha

Apart from being on here looking after me how come you are still up? going to be bossy now and say make sure you sleep and eat, thats the pot calling the kettle black (is the right saying??) I said to the dr that surely because of michaela's age (almost 18) you should have the decency to ask her if there is a possibility of her being pregnant, i then apoolgised afterwards as i was a bit snappy,think all thats built up over the past few weeks is starting to come out but i wasnt that sorry!!! well i dont know about donning a fireman in a pinny what a waste with that uniform lol!! but hey theres a 1st time for everything!! My Dear Teresa, I'm still up cos couldn't sleep as was worried bout you partly!! please don't feel bad about that cos if i didn't want to then i wouldn't have. Must admit feeling bit tired now but i'll be ok! me a tough mother hen haha Got my niece Kerry up this afternoon with baby Harvey and her other little boy who's 3 called Nate. Bet i get to play cars again and all round entertainer!! haha I don't mind though cos the're sweet little great nephews. Poor little Harvey has thrush at mo so been a bit cranky but he's getting better as days go on. Kerry wants some photo's of the boys with Darryl so that should be fun trying to control a newborn a 3 year old and darryl all at the same time, who tends to be worse than the kids!!!!! haha I got the lovely photo's of my surrogate nephew Sam and he looked really sweet!! Your mum looks so young!!! Bet she likes me now hahaha.
I can understand you being a bit stroppy with the dr after all Your Michaela is your baby and of course you're worried about her! Little girls always need there mum when the're not well don't they? come to think of it so do little boys!! haha I was thinking of the fireman out of uniform and just donning a pinny, but perhaps he could do me a show with the uniform on first! hahaha

Dearest Mel You do make me feel bad that you up partly worrying about me but having been talking to you there no need to worry as you've made me feel so much better, THANKYOU, although an hour and a half time and il be in the worry club again as hospitals are so dismal whatever the reason and Michaela is on a word below where dad once was but despite that all i can think of now is breakfast as im so hungry!! shame i not got a fireman donning the pinny in the kitchen cooking it for me but hey a girl can dream!! I will give mum the compliment, i think she's smashing for 61 although its a different look when she falling asleep in the chair and snoring (sorry mum for that but you do!!) dad always said she did but she denied it but ive witnessed it 1st hand the last 5 weeks!!

Hope you are feeling a little better this evening? What a night me and Teresa had last night/early this morn! I see you notice the fare well message has got longer and longer. haha We were trying to see how long we could get it. and thought we did pretty well. I haven't heard from Teresa so far today but expect she has been busy at hospital with Michaela. If i don't hear from her tomorrow was gonna message her. I expect she has also had en early night as we were up all night, but i must admit i did go to bed for 3 hrs at 7am as she was just going to do eggy bread and mushrooms then get ready to see Michaela at the hospital. Bless Teresa was so worried but i hope i helped her a little by keeping her company through the night, like i would any of my likkle chickens if i was logged on and they needed me so don't forget that ok?

Darryl continues to do well today which is good news and daley and kirsty are fine.I didn't have time to ring the secretary today( and to be honest i did forget and by the time i remembered it was gone 6pm getting very forgetful in my old age) hahaha had my niece Kerry and her two little boys round today called Nate and Harvey so it was a busy day entertaining a 3 year old and of course having a cuddle with new born baby Harvey. Kerry took some photo's of the boys and Darryl, and Darryl kept messing about so took ages! nearly got the hammer and nails out again! lol well i truely hope you feel better very soon and i'm here if you need me babe! now for the long farewell love hugs frankfurters,bananas, postman pat easter eggs, firmen with hoses but donning pinnys, fruit pastilles, eggy bread with mushrooms and of course big marrows!!
