Well here i am again at 4.30 in the morning and i can't sleep yet again!! My husband Darryl has terminal small cell cancer and, at the moment is going through a really good phase. Which, i would have thought, would set my mind at rest and enable me to sleep. But no, here i am again having had 2 hrs sleep tonight wide awake with mad thoughts running around my head!! This is driving me crazy and i just seem to be on auto pilot all the time. Darryl is 44 years old and we have been given a prognosis of a 2-3 year life span for him. I can't seem to let go of this thought, and maybe part of me can't sleep because of that, as i feel if i'm asleep i'm wasteing precious time!! Darryl is sound asleep and resting well, and if i stay upstairs next to him listening to his breathing, i keep thinking is this the last time i'll ever hear that and end up getting so uptight and worried that i find it better to just get up again. So i wander round the house do a few chores, have a hot caffiene free drink and will myself to sleep all to no avail i might add!! hahaha surely i'm not the only carer who never sleeps, or am i????? any comments gratefully recieved. Sounds like I missed a really good night last night and could have done with a laugh as felt down yesterday and woke up feeling the same this morning, I kind of stormed out of mums at 8am to come home (sorry mum)....frankfurter or banana, quite a choice?!! was going to say something else but think it too early in the day, anyway have managed to put pics of Samuel on (only 2 on comp) so will try to send them but not sure if can do it through p/m but i'll try. Michaela made it home but unwell again!!! so going back to dr's, i think she has an intolerance to alcohol as it seems its whenever she goes out (although a sensible girl) she always feels poorly afterwards, anyway waffling and i have to take beef out of oven will speak to you soon, hope you all having a good weekend lots of love hugs and easter eggs teresa xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I will keep this brief (not like me) cos i dont want to bring you all down, Mums haveing it tough again , so that makes me low ( Motherhen mellymoo you did try to prepare me, but do I listen?, naive or thick, I dont know probably the latter!) Anyway motherhen and chicks, had a viewing only mac bit of time and it seems a lot of people are deserting this site think thats really sad, cant be a***d with the in fightin goin on, although have to be honest found it a little entertaining at first,( how sads my life!) now tiresome though, but just wanna know you aint goin anywhere? hi kate, so sorry your mum feeling rough, its like a roller coaster isnt it mate? and it makes you feel awful to see them like this, i am sending your mum lots of hugs and strength, and hope she soon starts to feel better bless her. try and remain positive, even though i know its hard to, we are all right besdie you. i know iv'e been keeping up with all thats going on and kate i find it really sad, i have been on here for nearly 2 years and its just over the last little while that iv'e noticed how bad it is, everyone has enough to deal with dont they?
