Sorry haven't posted for a couple of days but had a few probs here, nothing to do with darryl, so please don't worry it's me really but won't go into it as it's not for the world to know. hahaha if you know what i mean? hope you managed to get to the crem with your mum to tell your dad bout baby Sam my little surrogate nephew.I hope baby sam has settled at home now and that Angie and James are managing to get some sleep? bet Mia's very happy with her baby brother? I'm so pleased Michaela is having a fab time in Germany and good for her going in the lift, talk about conquering your fears the hard way! bless her. Bet you have missed each other though? just realised she was due home today what a wombat i am!!! has she seen little Sam yet? I hope she has a nice time with her dad looking round the uni. Can you believe your little girl is all grown up now??? goes so quick doesn't it, one minute you're pushing them in a pram next the're leaving for uni or home! I miss all the years with Daley and Kirsty when they were young. We used to do really mad stuff like going to the beach at 11pm, or i'd make up assault courses for them, or lay down rolls of wallpaper and we'd get different coloured paints in paint trays then run all over the paper, or make musical instruments with kitchen stuff. plus loads of other stuff, too much to mention. But we had fun and i miss all that as they don't wanna do it all now, not sure why? ahahha.
Darryl continues to do well, but we still haven't heard about when his radiotherapy starts so def ringing the secretary on monday to find out what is going on. The decorating in the bathroom and stairs and hall are all finished and had a new stair carpet fitted yesterday it looks really nice and i'm very pleased how it has all turned out. I'm going to do the lounge next, was gonna do our bedroom but it's got quite a lot that needs doing in ther so changed my mind! haha looking at paint and wallpaper tom with darryl.

kate dont you dare ever feel guilty about talking about your mum, you could never p me off, i have been where you are now caring for our wonderful mums, and the worry etc., your'e doing a marvellous job and it helps to be able to speak to others who know what your going through. i miss my mum every second of every day but it doesnt stop me wanting to hear how your mum is getting on, so please dont ever feel guilty ok???? (sorry for sounding bossy) lol.
the brood were all fed for another little while anyway, where do they put it all lol.
i really hope your mum doesnt have any side effects from pump being removed i'm keeping my fingers crossed. please keep us informed of how she is doing bless her.

Hi my little chicken Karen,
sorry i haven't posted for a couple of days but had a few worries here, nothing to do with darryl so please don't worry, more bout me but not really for the world to know if you know what i mean! hahaha.
talking bout Danny my nephew who's 18 now had speech and language difficulties as well as hearing problems at school. He didn't do well at regular school as kids kept picking on him so he went to a school especially for kids with the same problems as him and he did really well. He even did some g.c.s.e's and got b's c's and d's! we were all so proud of him and he is on a training course now in archetecture ( bad spelling sorry), SO i'm sure your Danny will do just as well bless his little heart, he sounds such a sweetie just want to hug him! hhaha. It's surprising how well kids can do with difficulties they have to face every day, and the new school (we used to say big school too) he's going to sounds fab so good luck with that i'm sure he'll be very happy there.
we have had the new stair carpet laid yesterday and it has finished the stairs and hall off nicely. I'm like a door woman now making sure people take ther shoes off before they come in! lol especially as Daley has a constant supply of mates coming round in the evening!
We have decided to do the living room next as our bedroom is going to be a bigger task as it's a bigger room!! going to look for paint and wallpaper tom so should be fun as Darryl and i can never agree on colours so i just pick what i want and go to the till!! then when the decs done Darryl always says you made the right choice there mel it looks really nice! flipping men if they listened to us in the first place save all that arguing in the diy shops! hahaha.

Glad you had fun at tesco!! haha sorry that was a bit sarcastic but not meant to offend. And did you manage to feed your hungry broood? I know how you feel in that respect, mine are always hungry too, infact, darryl put on a stone in weight during chemo! Think that was all the chocolate he had cravings for haha

Hows your mum doing today? i expect you will worry a bit now her chemo is finished babe, but like i said i know it sounds awful but be prepared for her to go back into hospital then if she doesn't then it's a bonus. sort of reverse psychology really. I'm sure she will be well looked after by you though as you are a great carer.And you're doing a great job so keep up the good work!

tesco, well what a bloody nightmare, every saturday i say i'm not shopping again at the weekend, and yes i still end up doing it lol

your carpet sounds really nice, its lovely having new things done isnt it? hope kirsty and daley are taking there shoes off, you will have to camp out in the hall and make sure lol

hope you have fun at the diy tomorrow lol me and will end up arguing about what we should get, but like you i always get my own way ha ha lol
