Hi everyone

I am just trying to navigate myself around the site.  Still struggling, but thought I would try and make a temporary place for the WTBT folk as we are all wandering round like lost souls at the moment- don't know if this will work- but worth a shot while Mac try and resurrect the old thread

    Hi Mollie

I was only saying to CH and Martyn I think yesterday that you hadn't been around and I was wondering if you had been put off by the new site - I think others may have too, or are having problems just getting onto it - lots of moaning and still our WTBT thread hasn't been transferred over.  Good to see you've made it now though, so hopefully you'll be able to navigate your way back in future, I think Martyn has been missing some of his staff you know!  He'll be docking wages soon so he can use it for a punt or two next week I hear!!!!

Hopefully see you soon, again xxxx

    Mandy and all,

I have changed my items per page settings so I see more posts on one page.

For instance, on the general discussion page, I see the last 20 posts instead of the preset 10.

If you click on Edit your profile, then click on Settings, the first section is Site Options. Scroll down to the last in this section, Items Per Page, it is probably set at 10, change it to another setting, 20, 30 etc. Remember to click, Save at the bottom of the page.

    I hope I'm not, T G T S E's ?

Oh I used to be able to do these.

Don't know about docking wages! I've been Mrs Miggins on this train for months and haven't seen a euro yet. I live in hope.

I'm on my last of 4 weeks holiday from work and went in to see the manager today too see what possibilities there are for some sort of extended leave.  We had a good chat and she will see with HR what if anything they can suggest. So will hear more next week. Fingers crossed.

Hope everyone is as well as possible.

    Love,

    CHxx

Jools Sending you my condolences. You will always treasure those memories of happier times.

CH, Mandy R Thanks for your kind words & for thinking about Pete & me whilst the site was down . It was strange  to be out of touch with everyone at such a time. Thank goodness it is up & running again albeit seemingly not without its problems but at least the support network can continue. It was good to read  Mandy that your experience of rehab was such a positive one, i certainly hope that Pete can benefit in the same way....... but I still have to sort out the log cabin for his return. Bob the Builder downed tools when the supervisor was off site!!!!!! Also had hands full in getting my eldest daughter packed off to University in Cardiff. Never before have I felt the need for a satnav but following directions from AA route finder relayed to me on a busy Saturday afternoon by a daughter who in equal measures was excited & apprehensive about starting university life did not lend itself to an easy  trip. If anyone spotted a car going round a roundabout about 10 times somehere in the centre of Cardiff on Saturday Pm then you now know why. Amazingly tempers didn't reach boiling point & somehow we finally managed to find the right road but it was a sheer flook. Even though we finally found her accomodation I would not be able to drive straight there again & the journey home with just my youngest daughter in the car wasn't without incident either!!! I'll be taking the train from now on but have decided that I need to leave any visiting for a few weeks yet whilst she settles in. Signs are good so far & she seems to be enjoying it. It is very odd to have just two of us at home though but no doubt we will soon get used to it.

Susen 206 So pleased that your break away proved successful. It did make me smile when you described Paul's tremendous appetite. Pete too was eating for England before he went into hospital but he isn't enjoying the NHS food he's being served!

    Take care all.

    love  Sue xx

Sue - seems you've had a lot on, more than usual recently hey? So, has the log cabin been delivered and is it half built yet?  My daughter is off to Reading on Sunday so P and I are taking her down then and staying a couple of nights to make sure no last minute panics - though I'm certain there won't be just that it's too far for P to do a return journey on the same day. Actually the way he's been these past couple of days I'm not so sure of him going at all, though he will and we will get through it!  When my daughter and I went down for her interview last year it was a nightmare - bit like the journey you describe - I had no idea of where anywhere was in relation to anywhere else so we couldn't tell what was the right direction.  Glad your daughter is settling - must be hard for her with her dad in hospital, same happened for my eldest daughter - it took the shine off her going as I was needing to get back.  Doesn't seem that way with daughter number two she is totally blinkered by her own life at the moment - I will miss her but she needs to go really since she is upsetting me and P with her selfishness (not badly behaved at all just selfish). With daughter number 3 off, just leaves 17yr old son so now going through the same process of uni's and personal statements - except he needs spoon feeding!!!!

    See you xxxxxxxxx
