Hi,
I'm just looking for a bit of guidance, as much as I try I can't get my head around the latest update we've had.
Almost a year to the day my mum was given the all clear from Ovarian Cancer. However this has returned and a further tumour was found on her liver. Chemotherapy was scheduled but a biopsy was taken to find out if it was primary or secondary cancer in the liver. This showed it was primary, and as the chemo was targeting Ovarian cancer it has been cancelled for now.
What I can't work out is whether the situation is now more bleak or whether things are now easier to treat?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Hi ScottW1886
Welcome to our community, I hope you find it both informative and supportive.
There are lots of things that impact on a cancer diagnosis and of course a big one is things being caught early. One thing in your comments above is that it sounds very like this liver cancer falls in to that category.
There is quite a lot of information on the main site about liver cancer and of course you would be welcome to look at and post in our Liver cancer forum
In the meantime of course - how are you feeling, it can be difficult watching our loved ones go through this once let alone when something new comes along.
<<hugs>>
Steve
