My mum is in the last few weeks/months and is currently limited in her movement. She really wants someone to give her a pedicure/foot massage to make her feel a bit better. Does anyone have any experience with this? I know places do at home appointments but want to make sure they know she's unwell/palliative so they don't get put off or uncomfortable. Are there any services more geared up to those at home with health conditions?
Hi ceefax25
Welcome to our community, I hope you find it both informative and supportive.
The idea of a massage/pedicure sounds really good but I would guess the information is very localised. It might help to use our in your area tool to find support groups near you where there might be others with experience. My other choice might be to ring the suppliers you know to see if they have any experience. I would think some at least will have some since they may have had cancer among their own family and friends.
<<hugs>>
