As I wrote before, my husband has been confirmed as having bladder cancer. We went to see the urologist today. He explained the findings on the c.t. scan and how we should proceed. The next stage is an m.r.i. scan in 2 weeks. Then a week later hubby is having his operation to remove the tumour. He told us about after care, we were allocated a specialist nurse and her phone number, a diet sheet, explanations of what will occur during the operation, and how to proceed in the case of chemo. He told us about a variety of treatments and which may be most suitable. We then had a meeting with our nurse who talked us through our fears. All in all, it was a good meeting and we left feeling positive.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
