My wonderful spouse attended a&e some weeks ago and was told they have internal bleeding, and emergency ct scan plus scopes will be needed which havent happened yet. no idea where the bleeding is coming from. Thinking of all worst case scenarious. Spouse is early 60s and has shut down, wont speak except to be angry and lash out but more often than not is just silent no matter what i do/say. feeling incredibly overwhelemed, helpless here.
unsure how long the wait for either test is? or what we may be facing?
any advice so welcome
Hello Qwert
I noticed that you have had a reply from one of the Macmillan nurses and hope that the information has helped.
I am sorry that you are both going through such a worrying time and that you hear back soon regarding the scans and tests needed. Maybe it would be a good idea to contact your GP and ask what is happening and when you can hope to hear something.
It is very natural to feel worried and overwhelmed in these circumstances and if talking things through would help, then please give the Support Line a call. The number is below and they are lovely on there.
