Hi, My names G 28 Brit currently living in Australia.
I've recently received news from back home that my step-mum has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Chemo and surgery are not an option. She and my dad have been together for 10+ and I lived with them partly before I left the UK 5 years ago. They're planning to tie the knot in December which has broke my heart. I feel helpless and guilty. Helpless I understand as I’ve lost people to this battle before. But the guilt feels overpowering. I’m currently 10,500 miles and unable to leave the county pending application processing.
I want to make sure they are both equipped with the resources available help, advice and recommendations welcome.
