Hi everyone
i hope it is ok to post a question, I have joined the community to get some advice please. My sister was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and she is having her lumpectomy in a few days and some lymph nodes removed to test.
she lives in her own her children and I will be helping her until she is back in her feet. She is over 60 also has heart issues. Could someone advise how we can help her after the operation and what to expect and how she will be feeling in the days and weeks after. No one in our family ever had cancer so we don’t know what
Hi Beach567
I'm sorry to read that your sister has breast cancer and it's natural to want to know the best ways to help after she's had her lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node biopsy.
I can see that you've joined the breast cancer group and would encourage you to post your questions there as well as you'll then connect directly with others who have had these operations and who can tell you how they coped and what they needed help with.
((hugs))
