My husband had secondary kidney cancer and we were told last week he now has a brain tumour he has an appointment tomorrow to find out what the next steps are he has his brother with him but really wanted to be there to support him and can’t get time off work makes me so angry and useless anyone else gave the same experience?
Hi Glo
So sorry to hear about your husband and the impact that is having on you. I know in a similar situation I ended up getting more than angry to the extent that I got signed off work with stress by my GP.
I wonder if it might be worth you ringing the helpline here and talking to one of our work support advisors, you could also contact Carers UK
<<hugs>>
Steve
Thank you he has a date fir an operation to remove the tumour a week on Monday so will need a lot of after care when he comes home I’m going to speak to my employer see what it is best to do shouldn’t be worrying about work when there are more important things to worry about
