We have very recently found out that my Pa has terminal cancer. We are all in shock and devastated with the news. Pa is at home now, and is very distraught for most of the time, obviously finding it difficult to come to terms with. He has asked today if we can arrange for someone to go to his house for him to talk to, talk through the diagnosis and advise him and us as a family on how to deal from here on in. He gets completely distraught going to the hospital, and we feel it would be easier on him if someone could talk to him at home. Could anyone advise please on if this is possible and how we could arrange this? Thank you
Hi LJ9990 welcome to the forum. Either of you can give the MacMillan Line a call and have a chat to the lovely folks there and ask any questions that you have or just talk to someone on a one to one basis. 08088080000 they are open from 8am until 8pm.
It is not an easy time for any of you right now and hopefully by having a chat with the folks at MacMillan you as a family can get access to the information/help that you may need.
Best wishes for now.xx
