It appears my dad is now having palliative care only , and is getting weaker by the day. I am sure I have seen recommendations before for books on how to explain death to children but I cannot find it. Does anybody have any suggestions which books might help me explain this situation to my 5 and 3 year old. Thanks

We were in a similar situation with my aunt this time last year and my young cousin was worried about scaring her young son (he was 6 at the time). She used language he would understand and basically kept it simple, explaining that sometimes the doctors can't make the right medicine to make the person better.
