After over a year after going to the doctor's with swelling around her neck. A biopsy confirmed my wife's breast cancer had returned, 7 years after her dx for primary breast cancer. At the time she had lumpectomy and chemotherapy. It was tough, but the hope was that was it.
Lived our lives, as close to normal, with daily tamoxifen and annual mammograms. Small markings on her CT scan possibly could be signs of bone mets, docs not 100%. Regardless, treatment at this stage is Abemaciclib, Letrozole, and Denosumab with zolodex injections.
My wife starts treatment next week. Many moments of tears, upset at why her and the thought of us not growing old together. She is 43 and me 46.
Any advice welcome, from people going through similar treatment, to family or loved ones helping people go through similar is welcome.

Hi Bazza7676
My wife in on Letrozole but for a different type of cancer, Leiomyosarcoma. Her cancer was never curable but two lots of chemotherapy seem to have put it to sleep and so we are living with cancer now - and been doing that for over 6 years.
If anything it seemed I coped worse than Janice but when we look at Your feelings when someone has cancer it is easy to see how easy we can get overloaded.
