Good Evening Everyone
My partner, has just had TURBT surgery.
He was shown a diagram of the bladder, and it said, 2 tumours removed, for testing.
But there were 4 dots, on the diagram, so he asked if that meant, 2 or 4 tumours.
The Nurse said, she wasn't sure, so were now wondering if there were more.
She said multiple tumours, which could just mean 2.
Very confusing !? Any help, greatly appreciated.
Hi em444. It's not uncommon to have more than one bladder tumour with suspicious other spots. As much as possible would have been removed during the TURBT. Biopsies will have been taken at the time for analysis. It takes a few weeks to get the results which then result in the next step. I see you are a member of the Bladder Group. Many of us there have experience of this. Any specific questions re treatment, there will be someone there to help. Best wishes.
