Hi,
my aunt has terrible psoriasis on her scalp and all over her body, she is currently going through chemotherapy for lung cancer after having had 3/4 of her lungs removed.
i can’t help with much else but if I could help her ease her psoriasis then I’m sure she could get more rest.
if anyone has any idea of any new treatments or anyway I could help her I would be really grateful
thank you
Hi
Sorry to read about this, there are often some complicated interactions with chemotherapy drugs so it may be worth checking with the oncology team if there is anything they could recommend. You are certainly right to be concerned though as everyone needs to get good rest to cope with life in general let alone someone with cancer.
I am sure of course you are helping in more ways than you know but somehow it does never feel like enough. I know I had to find ways to look after me because watching my wife going through treatment was never easy. Lots of practice now though since her cancer has been stable for over 6 years now and she is in really good health at the moment.
<<hugs>>
Steve
