My sons dad was diagnosed with stage 4 brain tumor 8 years ago.he is now reaching the end of his life my son is only 13 I would really like some advice of what help there is out there for us or If anyone in a similar situation to what I am in with my young son.
Hi Nt1212
So sorry to read about what you and your son are going through. We have a guide here that may be helpful.
Sometimes when my wife was really ill she would ask our son how he felt. One of the questions he asked was what would happen to him if I died too (he has seen me in hospital a few times). Fortunately we have this covered in that my wife's brother is named as guardian and they have an adopted son so we know they would cover.
Do keep the school in the loop as they can arrange support and he may well ask questions there. For our son I know how important it was he got a consistent answer.
<<hugs>>
Steve
