Dad has reached very near end of life, he had a blood transfusion on Friday and recieved 3 bags, he then slept all day yesterday, he's back in hospital today receiving more blood. I am going to see him tomorrow with my sister. How do I prepare for this? I will be travelling to London to be with my partner after i have seen him as I have a wonderful support system up there compared to here.

Hi CatA1
Sorry to hear about your dad, you might find some useful tips in our Supporting someone with incurable cancer forum and on the pages here
There is of course no "right" answer here but one thing that touched me recently at a friends funeral was when we heard "grief is the price we pay for love".
<<hugs>>
Steve
