Our friend sent us a message 2 months ago it was quite vague but she said she needed to have a procedure and radiotherapy. She said she'll contact us when she's ready we have all been friends over 18 years. We have reached out sent messages and gifts. She will answer saying I'll maybe meet in a few weeks. We are worried not knowing what's going on. In the meantime my father has been diagnosed with liver cancer.any advice on the best approach to my friend without feeling we are intruding
Hi
I have had this with my wife, he got diagnosed with breast cancer had a lumpectomy, and lymph nodes, taken out....but she totally cut me off to the point where I'm in the spare room.....but just keeps telling everyone's she's fine. I've just had to back off and let her deal with it how she needs to. Keep saying I'm there for her, but she just keeps pushing like the offer is annoying her, it's all you can do really just let them know we're here when they're ready
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
