My son was diagnosed with kidney cancer, and secondaries on his brain just over a month ago. He's undergone radiotherapy on his brain a couple off weeks ago, with resulting fatigue and lack of appetite making him very weak. Now back in hospital on insulin to deal with his high blood sugar levels. In the meantime we are awaiting decisions on his future treatment. Just heard that more tumours have been found in his body. I'm devastated. I lost his Dad 10 years ago to the same cancer. It's the not knowing what is to happen, and then how bad things are likely to be that is so hard. I live on my own and my head is all over the place. I have no appetite and my stomach is off. Think my usual positive nature is depleted. His brother and wife are a great support but we all feel helpless.
Hi TinaAthena
So sorry to read this, you are so right that times like this are more than hard but somehow we have to find our way through. Glad to here you have support though and perhaps all we can offer is crossed fingers and a virtual hug.
<<hugs>>
