My daughter has DCIS and has to have a mastectomy. She is only young, I'm not sure how she will cope.
Its hard to talk to people I know as I don't know how much they are happy for me to talk about it with them and I think it sometimes makes them uncomfortable.
So, I'm really glad there's somewhere to share how we all feel and feel supported by people who understand.
I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. It must be a scary time for all of you.
I do think the hardest thing for us is to talk to those we know. I don’t want to be a burden but at the same time feel like I’m going crazy with the weight of emotions within.
