Hi all, sorry to meet under sad circumstances.
My best friend was diagnosed with skin cancer yesterday. We’re hoping it hasn’t spread but has been poorly the last couple of years with glandular fever and long covid so I’m trying to feel positive but it’s hard not to worry. I feel like I’ve been kicked in the stomach after losing another best friend to C 8 years ago.
I don’t know what to do with myself, I’m trying to work but can’t concentrate, so I guess that’s how I’ve found myself here.
live and strength to all xxx
My best friend had skin cancer on her face last year. She had a big section of skin from her forehead down the nose and to towards the mouth. It looked dreadful for a long time but she is okay now and a little makeup has covered most of the redness. Be positive, I am sure he/she will be fine. xx
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
